The Art of Eyeshadow on “green eyes”

The Art of Eyeshadow on “green eyes”

This is a jumble of eyeshadow looks I have done in the past. None of them are recent and I probably couldn’t tell you exactly what I used, but I can try. Also my eye color is changed in some of the pictures, you can see they are unnaturally green, but also notice I have chameleon eyes, they go from green to grey to almost blue. Depending on the colors i’m wearing, mood and lighting they change. Do you have chameleon eyes?

Rainbow Lips with Silver Star Confetti

I did this look along time ago. I used different colors of m.a.c. shadesticks in the correct rainbow style. Over the shadesticks, I mixed a sparkly sheer lipgloss with different shades of Ben Nye Lumiere Luxe powders and applied each mixture on top of the same color shadestick. I blended the meeting colors gently, cleaning off the brush after each color blend. I then stuck the star confetti on. I did this just for the picture and took it off right after I was finished. I don’t recommend putting non lip products on your lips, but I did not have any kind of reaction nor did I eat any of the products used. Try at your own risk.

Lace Makeup Mask

Masks are alot of fun, although they can be intimidating and lengthy. This is a really quick mask I did.
I used a piece of lace that I cut from an old curtain, I washed it on gentle cycle.
When it was dry I used a large flat eyeshadow brush to pack on color, don’t rub or swish it on. You can use any colors of course or any pattern, like lace.. you can use a small paper punch to cut out shapes on a piece of paper and use the paper as your pattern. Honeycomb ribbon is that metal ribbon with holes cut out (sometimes hearts or stars) works too. You see this stuff on homecoming mums and is inexpensive. You can usually find it at a craft, hobby or florist shop.
As you apply the color, make sure the pattern is held firmly against your face. In the photo I used Pink and Yellow, so when they mixed it would be orange and not a brown. This is where a color wheel comes in handy if you don’t know it. Here is a color wheel for your reference: http://pumpkincat210.files.wordpress.com/2010/04/ct22.jpg
If you come up with something, let me know please, I love to see what other people come up with.

All About Red Lipstick!!

This is my favorite lip combination of the moment. I used M.A.C.’s Sci Fi delity lipstick and Milani Glitzy Gloss All About Me. I love Milani’s Glitzy Glamour Gloss as well as the 3d glitzy glamour gloss. I have a 3d gloss in the blue color, called movie star. It doesn’t go on blue, it just cools down any lipstick you have on under it. It really is great gloss with good payoff. More

Red Eyeshadow can be intimidating. I did this look a long time ago. Products used were:
M.A.C. Flammable paint (very lightly)
Ben Nye Cherry Red Lumiere Luxe
Urban Decay Pyrotechnics Glitter Liner

The main thing for this eye look is to tone down your other makeup, use a neutral blush and lipstick. This look is best worn at night.
